INDIVIDUAL NOTES
-Freshman Lindsey Spann posted her third straight 20-point game with 22 points at Iowa. She now has a team-high 11 double-digit scoring games this season, with four of those 20-point efforts.

-Spann netted a career-high four three point field goals and six free throws vs. the Hawkeyes.

-She also tied her career-best with five rebounds.

-Sophomore Alex Harris tied her career-high with 11 rebounds, a feat she has accomplished twice; last vs. Illinois State on Nov. 20, 2013.

-Sophomore Kaliyah Mitchell tied her career-high with two blocked shots.

TEAM NOTES
-The loss snapped a four-game Penn State winning streak at Iowa and makes the all-time series 26-19 in favor of the Lady Lions.

-Penn State is now 14-10 in Big Ten opening games and Big Ten road openers.

-Penn State out-rebounded Iowa, 40-38, but committed a season-high 24 turnovers.

-Iowa posted the highest field goal percentage by a Penn State opponent this season, shooting 46.7 percent (28-of-60) for the game.

- The Lady Lions continue their road trip on Thursday, Jan. 1 at Michigan. The game is available on BTN Plus. Penn State is back in the BJC on Sunday, Jan. 4 to meet Illinois at 2 p.m. for First Responders Day.
