CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team, ranked No. 4 in the latest Intermat Tournament Power Index, will have eleven wrestlers seeded for the 2015 Defense Soap and Flips Wrestling Southern Scuffle. The event seeds 12 wrestlers per weight.

Junior Jordan Conaway (Abbottstown, Pa.) is the No. 3 seed at 125 and sophomore Jimmy Gulibon (Latrobe, Pa.) is the No. 1 seed at 133. Sophomore Zack Beitz (Mifflintown, Pa.) is the No. 8 seed at 149 and junior Luke Frey (Montoursville, Pa.) is the No. 10 seed at that weight. Senior Dylan Alton (Mill Hall, Pa.), making his season debut, is the No. 5 seed at 157.
Senior Matt Brown (West Valley City, Utah) is the No. 2 seed at 174 while true freshman Bo Nickal (Allen, Texas), wrestling unattached and a non-scorer for the Lions, is the No. 11 seed. Freshman Matt McCutcheon (Apollo, Pa.) is the No. 6 seed at 184 and junior Morgan McIntosh (Santa Ana, Calif.) is the No. 4 seed at 197. Senior Jimmy Lawson is the No. 2 seed at 285 and classmate Jon Gingrich (Wingate, Pa.) is the No. 6 seed at that weight as well.
The Scuffle begins tomorrow morning, January 1, at 9 a.m. The Nittany Lions are 5-0 on the year, 1-0 in Big Ten dual action. Penn State's next home dual is set for Friday, Jan. 9, when Indiana visits Rec Hall for a 7 p.m. match-up.
