Postgame Notes at Minnesota

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
-Sophomore Peyton Whitted tied for the team lead in scoring with a career-high 16 points, setting her career-high in points for the second time in three games.
-Whitted made a career-best seven field goals and added six rebounds vs. the Gophers.
-Freshman Lindsey Spann posted her 17th double figure scoring game with 16 points at Minnesota, tying for the team-high.
-Spann added five assists, one rebound and one steal at Minnesota.
-Junior Candice Agee netted 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for her ninth game this season with at least 10 points and five rebounds.
-Agee also added two blocked shots to bring her season total to 40 and her career total to 74.
-Senior Tori Waldner scored nine points and pulled down nine rebounds at Minnesota.
-Waldner added three blocks to push her career total to 116 blocks.
TEAM NOTES
-The Lady Lions are now 27-13 all-time against Minnesota and own a 10-10 mark all-time in Minneapolis.
-Penn State had a season-low 11 turnovers at Minnesota.
-The Lady Lions connected on 11 of 12 free throws for a season-high 91.7 percent.
-The Lady Lions will travel to Rutgers on Sunday, Feb. 1 for their second meeting with the Scarlet Knights. The game will be shown live on the Big Ten Network at Noon. Penn State returns home on Thursday, Feb. 5 to face Maryland.
