UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State women's tennis team looks to carry the momentum from the win over Pittsburgh into this weekend's conference opener against No. 23 Northwestern. The match date is Saturday, February 14 with first serve set for 12:00 p.m. Northwestern comes into Saturday's match with a 1-2 record after dropping their latest decision 5-2 to No. 4 Duke.

Two Nittany Lions cracked the ITA rankings as Victoria Kisialeva (Toronto, Canada) and Dasha Sapogova (Belarus, Minsk) are the 34th ranked doubles pair. The duo is 4-1 in the spring season. Devan McCluskey (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Kim Surin (Montreal, Canada) have put together a 7-2 record this season, including a 4-1 record this spring.

Northwestern has two of their own doubles teams ranked in the ITA Top 60 as Alicia Barnett and Brooke Rischbieth are ranked No. 50 while Rischbieth and Alex Chatt are No. 58.
