CHICAGO - The Penn State softball team will play a pair of games during its 2015 B1G slate which will be televised by the Big Ten Network, the conference announced Monday. The Nittany Lions' doubleheader versus Ohio State, Apr. 7 at Beard Field will be carried live on the BTN and will also be accessible via the BTN2Go App.
Game 1 of the two game set is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., Apr. 7, with the second contest to start at approximately 7:30 p.m. or a half an hour following the completion of the first game.
More PSU matchups may be added to the BTN schedule as the conference season continues but right now these are the only two officially on the schedule. An additional list of games to be streamed on BTNPlus can be found here: http://bit.ly/1Gz9ngN
The Network will additionally televise all games taking place at the 2015 Big Ten Softball Championship, scheduled to take place May 8 - 9 in Columbus, Ohio.
Last season the Lions were on the BTN a total of four times for a pair of doubleheaders, one of which was again against the Buckeyes in Columbus. They also played Wisconsin at home in Happy Valley which was also aired on the Big Ten Network.
