CHICAGO - The Big Ten Network will offer its most extensive baseball coverage ever, including three Penn State games airing on BTN and 14 streaming on BTN Plus, it was announced Monday.
All three BTN games will take place at Medlar Field, and the first will be the Nittany Lions' contest against Michigan Friday, April 10 at 5 p.m. BTN will also broadcast the series finale against Illinois Sunday April 26 at 1 p.m. and the Saturday game of Penn State's first Big Ten series with Rutgers May 2 at 1:30 p.m.
The BTN Plus schedule will open with Penn State's series at Ohio State, as all three games April 3-5 will be streamed, and it will be followed with the Lions' home tilt Wednesday, April 8 at 6:30 against Lafayette. All three games at Minnesota (Apr. 17-19), the first two games of the Illinois series (Apr. 24-25) and a home tilt against Pittsburgh (Wednesday, April 29, 6:30 p.m.) will round out the month of April. In May, the series opener against Rutgers (May 1, 6:30 p.m.) and season finale at Purdue (May 14-16) will be aired.
