GAINESVILLE, FLA - The Penn State women's golf team wrapped up the second round of the Gator Invitational Saturday, finishing with a total of 320 (+40) strokes on the day. After two rounds Penn State sits in 14th place. The third round of the Gator Invitational will begin 9:15 a.m with a shotgun start.
Junior Elyse Archambault (St-Jean-sur-Rich, Quebec) led the team in scoring on Saturday with a seven-over 77, placing her in a tie for 40th (+16). Senior Ellen Ceresko (Jefferson Township, Pa.) finished in the 70s for a fifth consecutive round, shooting a nine-over 79. After two days, Ceresko sits in a tie for 46th place at 17-over. Senior Katlyn Elliott (Peterborough, Ontario), senior Catherine Hererra (Houston, Texas), and junior Halley Morell (Brecksville, Ohio) all carded 82s (+12) on the day. Rounding out the squad was Junior Grace Chung (Toronto, Ontario) who shot an 84 (+14).
Arizona held on to its team lead on the second day, firing a 290 (+10) to take an 11 stroke lead. Individually, Krystal Quihuis of Arizona grabbed the lead after carding a even-par 70 on the day and sits at three-over for the tournament.

Following the Gator Invitational, the Nittany Lions will participate in the Briar's Creek Invitational in Charleston, S.C. on March 23 and 24.
