Traffic/Parking Advisory for Baseball Apr. 24-May 2

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Fans attending weekend Penn State baseball games at Medlar Field Friday-Saturday, April 24-25 and Friday-Saturday, May 1-2 are advised that traffic conditions and parking availability will be adjusted due to the series of Garth Brooks concerts at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Fans are encouraged to plan for heavier than normal traffic. For all four games, fans attending the Penn State baseball game are encouraged to park in the Porter North lot or the Jordan East lot (Lot 44).

Game specific details are below:

Friday, April 24 - Penn State vs. Illinois at 6:30 p.m., Garth Brooks concert at 7 p.m.
- Event parking attendants will be staffing all lots
- Fans attending the Penn State baseball game should tell the attendant that they are parking for the game, and will be allowed to park without being charged the event parking fee
- Traffic will be heavy on this night - fans are reminded to allow extra time to travel to the game

Saturday, April 25 - Penn State vs. Illinois at 2 p.m., Garth Brooks concerts at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- Stadium West parking lot will be closed all day
- Fans leaving the Penn State baseball game may be asked to leave these lots by a different route than they entered due to incoming traffic for the concerts.

Friday, May 1 - Penn State vs. Rutgers at 6:30 p.m., Garth Brooks concert at 7 p.m.
- Event parking attendants will be staffing all lots

Saturday, May 2 - Spikes TicketFest 2015 at 11 a.m., Penn State vs. Rutgers at 1:30 p.m., Garth Brooks concerts at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- Stadium West parking lot will be closed all day
- Fans leaving TicketFest 2015 or the Penn State baseball game may be asked to leave these lots by a different route than they entered due to incoming traffic for the concerts.

Standard parking and traffic procedures will be in place for all other Penn State baseball games remaining on the 2015 home schedule.
