EUGENE, Ore. --
Bridget Franek (Hiram, Ohio) was the lone Penn Stater to compete Saturday on day three of the 2015 United States Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.

Franek, an alum of Penn State, who currently runs for Team Run Eugene, tallied an eighth-place finish in the final of the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase with her time of 9 minutes, 47.81 seconds.

The 2015 United States Outdoor Track & Field Championships come to a close Sunday with Nittany Lion representation in the men's 800-meter run and the men's shot put.

Nittany Lion alum Casimir Loxsom (New Haven, Conn.), running for Brooks Beasts Track Club, will compete in the final of the men's 800-meter run at 4:57 p.m. (EDT)

Also on Sunday, Darrell Hill (Philadelphia, Pa.), Nittany Lion alum Joe Kovacs (Nazareth, Pa.) and volunteer assistant coach Ryan Whiting will throw in the men's shot put at 3:20 p.m. (EDT) Both Kovacs and Whiting compete for Nike.
