USTFCCCA Announces 2015 All-Academic Awards

NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its list of All-Academic award winners for the 2015 track & field season. Nine Nittany Lions were named All-Academic along with the women's track & field team receiving All-Academic honors.

On the women's side, Shelley Black (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.), Elizabeth Chikotas (Hellertown, Pa.), Lexi Masterson (Jeannette, Pa.), Dynasty McGee (Flint, Mich.), Megan Osborne (Chillicothe, Ohio) and Annjulie Vester (Homburg, Germany) were named All-Academic.

The Penn State men were represented on the USTFCCCA All-Academic list by Robby Creese (Mount Airy, Md.), Matt Fischer (Kennett Square, Pa.) and Jordan Makins (Perth, Australia).

The women's track & field team received All-Academic honors for the 12th-straight year.

To qualify as an All-Academic individual, student-athletes must complete the academic year with a GPA of at least 3.25 and have finished the indoor regular season ranked nationally among the top 96 (individually) or 48 (relay) or have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships.
