2015 Field Hockey Promotions Schedule
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's field hockey team has announced the 2015 home promotion schedule, which begins Friday as Penn State hosts Temple in its home opener starting at 6 p.m.
Admission to all field hockey events is free, Fans are asked to park in the Penn State Field Hockey Complex grounds. Fans are reminded that bags are subject to inspection once on stadium grounds.
The opener against the Owls will feature a poster giveaway for fans (while supplies last), a pregame bounce house for kids age 12 and under, and a post-game autograph session with the team.
The Nittany Lions return home the following week on Friday, Sept. 11 against California for Military Appreciation Day. Fans in attendance will receive patriotic Penn State field hockey t-shirts (while supplies last) and there will be a military contracting ceremony during halftime for select Penn State ROTC Cadets and The National Anthem will be performed by the Penn State Wild Blue Yonders (Air Force ROTC.)
Following the game against California, Penn State will host Michigan State Friday, Sept. 25. Penn State field hockey coffee tumblers will be given away while supplies last. Additionally, help us welcome back some of our Penn State field hockey alums, as they'll be in attendance as a part of Alumni Weekend.
Ohio State comes to town Sunday, Sept. 27 wrapping up Alumni weekend. The game will be Camper Reunion Day; Penn State field hockey campers from summer 2015 can join the team following the game for a photo on the field. Field Hockey Alum, Natalie Race, will perform the National Anthem.
This year's Pink Zone game will be Friday, Oct. 2 vs. Quinnipiac. Pink "Penn State Field Hockey" caps will be given away while supplies last, and a kids bounce house, for kids age 12 and under, will be on campus again during pre-game.
Help the Lions whiteout the Terps Friday, Oct. 9 vs. Maryland. "Penn State Field Hockey Whiteout" t-shirts and shakers will be given away while supplies last, and Penn State's own Terri Parker will perform the National Anthem.
In the final home game of the 2015 regular season, Penn State will celebrate the careers of its seniors during Senior Night Friday, Oct. 23 vs. Iowa. Natalie Race will again perform the National Anthem.
