"Dig Pink" Highlights Women's Volleyball Promotional Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State women's volleyball's annual "Dig Pink" match highlights the Nittany Lions' 2015 promotional schedule, set to begin when PSU returns from a two-week road trip. This year's schedule features exciting promotions and giveaways for eight remaining regular-season home matches this year.

White Out! vs. Wisconsin -- Wednesday, Sept. 23
With the Big Ten opener just two weeks away, top-ranked Penn State is set to kick off its promotional slate with a white out match against 2014 Big Ten champion Wisconsin in the conference home-opener in Rec Hall. Fans should remember to wear white and cheer on the Nittany Lions.

Camper Night vs. Minnesota -- Saturday, Sept. 26
Penn State will host camper night against the Golden Gophers , welcoming back campers of all ages who attended a Penn State women's volleyball camp this summer. Discounted tickets are available for returning campers planning to attend the Nittany Lion matchup.

Dig Pink! vs. Iowa -- Saturday, Oct. 3
Penn State is set to host its annual "Dig Pink" match against Iowa in Rec Hall. Fans attending the match will receive pink shakers. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink to the match, with pink Penn State volleyball shirts also available for purchase. Additionally, the Nittany Lions will host a silent auction featuring PSU game-worn pink warmup t-shirts. Proceeds from the auction will go directly toward Penn State's "Dig Pink" profile. Last year's Penn State campaign generated nearly $4,000 for the Side-Out Foundation, a record-number in Penn State's six-year's participating in the rally. To make your contribution, click here.

The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing patient support services and educating communities. The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and to have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services.

Military Appreciation Night vs. Indiana -- Oct. 16
Join Penn State women's volleyball as we honor the brave men and women who have and are currently serving our country. We'll have free Penn State women's volleyball military dog tags for fans as well as a postgame sitting volleyball match. The sitting volleyball match will feature members of the Penn State men's volleyball team and members of the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors branch in State College.

Postmatch Autographs with #PSUVB vs. Purdue -- Oct. 17
Penn State women's volleyball fans will have the opportunity to meet the back-to-back NCAA national champions in a special postmatch autograph session immediately following the match against the Boilers.

Halloween at Rec Hall vs. Ohio State -- Oct. 30
We're celebrating Halloween one day early in Rec Hall this year with free candy at the door and a kids costume parade on the court during the intermission.

#PSUVB Night! vs. Michigan -- Nov. 18
Get social with Penn State women's volleyball as we host #PSUVB night in Rec Hall. Fans will receive a Penn State volleyball cell phone card holder while supplies last. Look for other exclusive deals and coupons on various #PSUVB social accounts throughout the week leading up to the match against the Wolverines.

Senior Night vs. Northwestern -- Nov. 25
Help us honor the 2015 Penn State women's volleyball senior class as they take to the court for their final regular season match in Rec Hall. Join us as we say thank you to seniors Lara Caraway, Megan Courtney, Kendall Pierce and Aiyana Whitney. Wall decals of all seniors available to fans entering the match while supplies last.

Single-match tickets to all remaining home matches in Rec Hall are now on sale. Advance tickets are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Tickets are also available at the door on gameday priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Penn State women's volleyball has great group rates as well with advance tickets for groups of 20 or more for just $4.

All Penn State students are admitted free of charge with a valid PSU Student ID.
