UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Nittany Lions square off against Maryland at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium Saturday in a game that will air on ESPN at 3:30 p.m.
The Penn State-Maryland contest also airs on the Penn State Sports Network (2:00 p.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com. The Maryland game marks the Nittany Lions' sixth appearance of the season on an ESPN/ABC network.
Penn State and Maryland will be meeting for the 39th time and the second time as Big Ten East Division rivals. The teams, who began playing annually starting last year, first met in 1917 and met last year for the first time since 1993. The Nittany Lion and Terrapins will be meeting in Baltimore for the fourth time (1987, 1989, 1991), but the first time in M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.
Tickets for the Nittany Lions' last two home games are available. Penn State hosts Illinois on Oct. 31 and Michigan on Nov. 21 for Senior Day and a Penn State WhiteOut.
