2015-16 Penn State Wrestling Radio Network Finalized

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Wrestling Radio Network has been finalized for the 2015-16 campaign and six stations across the state will take part in airing the entire season live. Forever Media's WRSC-AM 1390 will serve as the flagship station for the network. The Penn State Coaches Show featuring Cael Sanderson, presented by Pepsi, will be carried by Forever Broadcasting as well.

Forever Media will air the bulk of the season on WRSC-AM 1390 with select dates tabbed for WQWK-AM 1450. In addition to those two stations, four other affiliates statewide will air the full slate of live action: WBPZ-AM 1230 Lock Haven; WIBF-FM 92.5 Mexico; WXBF-FM 106.1 Beaver Springs; and WDBF-FM 106.3 Mt. Union. Jeff Byers will once again serve as the voice of Penn State Wrestling, calling each broadcast mat-side with the Nittany Lions.

The Penn State Coaches Show featuring Cael Sanderson, presented by Pepsi, will air on Forever Media as well this year. The one-hour program will take place at Lettermans on East College Ave. in State College every Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. from November 11 through mid-March. Fans are encouraged to attend the program throughout the year. THERE WILL BE PERIODIC DATES THAT WILL BE PRE-RECORDED DUE TO TRAVEL.

Wrestling head coach Cael Sanderson will be the featured guest for most shows from November 10 through mid-March. This year, in addition to Sanderson, The Penn State Coaches Show will include various coaches from other Penn State teams and athletics administrators.

The Penn State Coaches Show featuring Cael Sanderson, presented by Pepsi, will feature guests answering questions from fans at Lettermans and online. Fans can submit questions to www.GoPSUsports.com/askthecoach. All Penn State wrestling broadcasts this season, both live action and the Penn State Coaches Show featuring Cael Sanderson, will be streamed online for free on GoPSUsports.com via GoPSUNow.

Penn State begins the 2015-16 season at home against Lock Haven on Friday, Nov. 13. The dual in Rec Hall begins at 7 p.m. While season tickets once again sold out well in advance of the season starting, Penn State is giving fans more opportunities than ever to see the Nittany Lions compete. Fans may purchase singles to Penn State's two BJC Duals (Wisconsin on 12/13 and Ohio State on 2/5) online at www.GoPSUsports.com/accountmanager or by calling 1-800-NITTANY. BJC Dual public tickets are $16 for adults and $8 for youth (12-and-under).

Group tickets for the BJC Duals are now available as well, allowing fans to purchase 20 or more tickets at only $8 per ticket. Group tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY.

With the five Rec Hall duals already at seated capacity, a limited number of Standing Room Only tickets (SROs) can be purchased for each of those five duals as well. Rec Hall SROs may only be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY and are $15 per person.

Penn State opens up the 2015-16 season at home on Friday, Nov. 13, with a 7 p.m. dual against Lock Haven in Rec Hall.
