WINTHROP, Mass. - Sophomore Hannah Ehresmann (Minnetonka, Minn.) has been named the College Hockey America Goalie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. This is the first career CHA Goalie of the Week honor for Ehresmann.
Ehresmann and the Nittany Lions are coming off a pair of losses against the No. 10 Princeton Tigers.
In net, Ehresmann tallied 74 saves, which included a season-high 38 saves Friday night and Saturday she recorded 36 saves. Her 38 saves are the third-most in a single game in her Nittany Lion career, while her 36 saves rank fourth-best.
On the year, Ehresmann has made 209 saves, which includes four performances with 30 or more saves.
The Nittany Lions return to the ice on Jan. 2, 2016, against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
