Nittany Lion Men Hold Steady at No. 21 in Latest USTFCCCA Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, LA.
- The Penn State men's and women's track & field teams move up in the 2016 week one indoor track & field season National Computer Rankings, as released Monday afternoon by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Both Nittany Lion track & field teams are represented in the rankings with the men's team holding steady at No. 21, while the women are currently just outside the top-25 checking in at No. 26 -up three spots from the pre-season rankings.

At the NCAA level, Penn State has 15 student-athletes in the top-20 of their respective events.

Head coach John Gondak's men's and women's teams combine a total of 49 student-athletes inside the top-20 in their events in the Big Ten Conference including eight conference-leading marks.

The Nittany Lions will return to the track at this weekend's Penn State National, starting Friday January 29 at 12 p.m. ET.
