Traffic and Parking Advisory for Penn State Athletic Events, February 5-7

University Park, Pa.- Fans are advised of another busy Penn State Athletics weekend of events. There are 11 Penn State teams competing at home during the Winter Sports Weekend, Feb. 5-7.

A half-price three-game ticket special is available for $30 for basketball and hockey events this weekend. Call 1-800-NITTANY for more information.

Friday night in particular will have heavy traffic around the sold out wrestling match vs. Ohio State in the Bryce Jordan Center at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The event parking fee of $5/vehicle will be in effect in Stadium West and Jordan East parking lots. Fans presenting a Wrestling Season Ticket Holder parking coupon will not be charged the $5 fee. In addition, fans displaying any University Parking Office issued Parking Permit can park free of charge in these lots.

Fans attending the Penn State Men's and Women's Track and Field Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup in the Multi-Sport Facility at 2:00 p.m. on Friday should clearly state they are there for the track meet to park in the lower part of Jordan East parking lot/Lot 44 South free of charge.

Across the street in Pegula Ice Arena, Nittany Lion Women's Hockey will take on Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. Doors to Pegula open at 6:00 p.m. Fans for Women's Hockey are encouraged to use the Shields or Wagner building parking lots or Orange-F by Holuba Hall/East Area Locker Room.

MWTR-I in the Multi-Sport Facility at 2:00 p.m. - fans must state they are there for Track & Field meet to park free of charge in Jordan East/Lot 44 South
WR in the BJC at 6:00 p.m. - $5 event parking fee in effect and Wrestling Season Ticket Holder parking coupons will be honored in Stadium West and Jordan East parking lots
WIH in Pegula Ice Arena at 7:00 p.m. - encourage fans to park in Shields or Wagner lots or Orange-F free of charge Racquetball Tournament in the IM Building from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. = before 5:00 p.m. $1/hour parking at the East Parking Deck; after 5:00 p.m. park free of charge in Wagner parking lot

Saturday, Feb. 6
