UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Tickets for the first two games of the CHA First Round series against RIT are now on-sale. Penn State will host RIT in the College Hockey America (CHA) First Round inside the Pegula Ice Arena Friday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. and if necessary Sunday at 2 p.m. If necessary, tickets will go on-sale for Sunday's game after the completion of Saturday's game.
All tickets are priced at $5 and are available for purchase by calling 1-800-NITTANY, visiting the BJC ticket office (M - F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.) or visiting http://www.gopsusports.com/tickets/psu-tickets.html. All online orders are accompanied by a $2.25 service fee per ticket. There is no service fee for phone orders or in-person orders. All online tickets will be printed at home. Gates will open one hour prior to puck drop.
Penn State students can attend the series for free with their valid PSU ID. Penn State students should enter at Gate B with their valid PSU ID.
The Nittany Lions finished the regular season with an overall record of 10-18-6 and a record of 6-8-6 in CHA play. Penn State enters the CHA Tournament with the No. 3 seed and will host sixth-seeded RIT.
Penn State tallied a record of 3-1-0 against RIT this season, which included a series shut-out sweep over the Tigers Jan. 29-30 at the Pegula Ice Arena.
