UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - No. 7 Penn State men's volleyball (10-2, 3-0) look to continue their win streak of nine straight as they continue an 11-game home stand starting this weekend with Charleston (WV) and George Mason. The Nittany Lions take on Charleston (4-10, 0-5) Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. ET, followed by a Saturday Feb. 27 match up against the Patriots of George Mason (5-8, 1-2) at 7 p.m. ET in Rec Hall.

QUICK SETS
* Through 12 games this season, junior Chris Nugent leads the team with 169 kills on 320 attempts hitting .319 on the year followed closely by Jalen Penrose's 102 kills on 210 attempts hitting .200 on the season. Taylor Hammond leads the Nittany Lions with 470 assist, averaging an NCAA best 11.75 per set, while Royce Clemens leads the team with 98 digs. Redshirt Junior Matt Callaway has recorded 49 total blocks this season averaging 1.26 per set this season.

* Penn State currently leads the EIVA with a 5-0 record in conference play. Harvard is second in the EIVA with a record of 3-1 in conference play and 6-5 overall. Sacred Heart is in third-place as the final team with a 3-1 record in conference play and 3-8 record overall.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE COMPETITION
The Nittany Lions will begin a new all-time series against the Golden Eagles. Last season, Charleston (WV) finished 4-23 on the season.
Penn State holds a 88-14 lead in the all-time series against George Mason. The Nittany Lions swept the Patriots during their last visit to Rec Hall on May 1, 2015 in the finals of the EIVA Championships.

AVCA DI-II COACHES' POLL UPDATE: WEEK SIX
Penn State moved up one spot to No. 6 in the latest AVCA Top 15 Coaches Poll. PSU has been in the top 15 the last six consecutive weeks since debuting at No. 10 in the AVCA DI-II pre-season poll. The Nittany Lions have now seen or will see a total of nine teams from the top 15 at some point during the regular season.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Penn State will stay at home hosting matches against Cal State Northridge on Mar. 4 and Long Beach State on Mar. 5, with both matches slated for a first whistle at 7:30 p.m.
