UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - No. 8 Penn State men's volleyball (5-2, 1-0 EIVA) returns to the friendly confines of Rec Hall to take on Mount Olive Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. ET.

QUICK SETS
* Penn State is ranked in the top-25 in five different team categories including top-10 rankings in Assists Per Set - 13.09 (3rd), and and Kills Per Set - 13.56 (3rd). Individually, Chris Nugent is ranked eighth in the nation in Points Per Set (4.88) and ninth in the nation in Kills Per Set (4.24), while Taylor Hammond is ranked third in Assists Per Set currently averaging 11.46.

*Penn State currently leads the EIVA with a 1-0 record in conference play, George Mason is second in the EIVA with a record of 1-6 overall and 1-0 in conference play following a straight set win over Charleston (W.V.) on January 16.

EIVA OFFENSIVE PLAYER of the WEEK
After helping the team to a win against No. 14 Saint Francis, Junior Chris Nugent earned EIVA Offensive Player of the Week honors. The award is the second of the season for Nugent, who would finish the game with 15 kills on 27 attempts hitting .370. Nugent would add a service ace along with five digs against the Red Flash in Loretto, Pa.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE COMPETITION
The Nittany Lions welcome Mount Olive to University Park having never lost to the Trojans, holding a 8-0 advantage in the all-time series against Mount Olive. Last season, Penn State swept Mount Olive in their lone matchup of the season, winning 3-0. Penn State has never dropped a set to the Trojans since the series began in 2005.

AVCA DI-II COACHES' POLL UPDATE: WEEK FOUR
Penn State jumped two spots to No. 8 in the latest AVCA Top 15 Coaches Poll. PSU has been in the top 15 the last four consecutive weeks since debuting at No. 10 in the AVCA DI-II pre-season poll. The Nittany Lions have now seen or will see a total of nine teams from the top 15 at some point during the regular season.

Penn State will travel to Harvard and Sacred Heart Friday and Saturday February, 12-13 when the Nittany Lions visit Cambridge, MA and Fairfield, CT for two 7 p.m. matches on the road.
