Coaches Show Featuring Cooper Begins Monday

March 13, 2016

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State Coaches Show featuring Rob Cooper, presented by Pepsi, is set for its weekly airing beginning Monday (6 p.m.) at LETTERMANS on East College Avenue. Hosted by Brian Tripp, the show can be heard live locally on State College's ESPN 1450 AM, a Forever Media station, and for free nationally on GoPSUsports.com.

Cooper, currently in his third year as the Penn State baseball head coach, will be featured during an hour-long show that originates from LETTERMANS. Joining Cooper will be an array of fellow Penn State head coaches, baseball student-athletes and support staff throughout the remainder of the season.

"I am very excited to be resuming our weekly show with Brian Tripp and talking baseball and more with our great fans locally and across the country via GoPSUSports.com," said Cooper. "LETTERMANS provides a great environment for us to get together every week and Brian is a tremendous ambassador for our program. I am looking forward to having our student-athletes join the show this year, as well as my fellow Penn State coaches."

All Penn State baseball broadcasts this season, both live action and the Coaches Show, will be streamed online for free on GoPSUsports.com via GoPSUNow. Broadcasts will resume with Penn State's home opener Friday at 5:30 p.m. against Niagara and can also be heard on State College's ESPN Radio 1450.

Tripp will be entering his seventh season broadcasting Penn State baseball.

"The Coaches Show is a great opportunity for fans to interact with Coach Cooper, his staff and student-athletes," said Tripp. "I enjoy seeing both new and familiar faces each week and look forward to discussing an exciting season each Monday."

Fans are encouraged to attend the live airing of the show with the opportunity to ask questions. Fans unable to attend can submit questions to www.GoPSUsports.com/askthecoach. The show will also be fielding questions from Twitter users with the hashtag #AskCoop.
