Women's Golf Completes Round Two at the Bryan Park Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" The Penn State women's golf team competed in the second round of the Bryan Park Invitational and improved their first round scores by four strokes shooting 315 plus-27.

Newcomer Lauren Waller (Canonsburg, Pa.) and senior Halley Morell (Brecksville, Ohio) led the way, both hitting one birdie and shooting a round score of 78 plus-6.

Newcomer Cara Basso (Downingtown, Pa.) had a team-high two birdies and finished with a score of 79 plus-7.

Sophomore Ariana Coyle Diez (Mount Merrion, Dublin, Ireland) finished with a score of 81 plus-9, while newcomer Jackie Rogowicz (Yardley, Pa.) shot an 80 plus-8.

University of Virginia maintains the lead as they shot a 295 plus-7, but still have a five stroke lead on the second placed Florida State.

Round three begins tomorrow, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring can be found on golfstat.com.
