UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State women's volleyball's annual "Dig Pink" match will once again highlight the Nittany Lions' 2016 promotional schedule, set to begin at the upcoming home opener in Rec Hall. This year's schedule features exciting themes and giveaways as well as a few season-long promotions.
Back to School with Penn State Volleyball - Friday, Aug. 26 and Saturday, Aug. 27
Get ready to go back to school with Penn State women's volleyball during the Penn State Classic during opening weekend at Rec Hall. Stock up on Penn State volleyball pencils at the 2016 home opener vs. West Virginia and Nittany Lion pocket folders Saturday, Aug. 27 at the evening matchup against North Carolina.
White Out! vs. Minnesota -- Wednesday, Oct. 5
Fans should remember to wear white to the Nittany Lions' first mid-week home matchup against defending Big Ten champion Minnesota. Grab your free white shaker at the door and cheer on the Nittany Lions as they take on the 2015 NCAA national semifinalist Gophers in the first regular season outing of the year.
Dig Pink! vs. Ohio State - Wednesday, Oct. 19
Penn State is set to host its annual "Dig Pink" match against Ohio State in Rec Hall. Fans attending the match will receive pink shakers. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink to the match, with pink Penn State volleyball shirts also available for purchase. Additionally, the Nittany Lions will host a silent auction featuring PSU game-worn pink warmup shirts. Proceeds from the auction will go toward Penn State's "Dig Pink" profile. Last year's Penn State campaign once again generated nearly $4,000 for the Side-Out Foundation, to match a record-number in Penn State's seven year's participating in the rally. The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing patient support services and educating communities. The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and to have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services.
Penn State Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night vs. Purdue - Saturday, Nov. 19
Join Penn State women's volleyball as we say thank you to the dedicated Penn State faculty and staff members who help make Happy Valley great. All Penn State faculty and staff members are eligible for a discounted $4 ticket with proof of their Penn State ID.
Penn State women's volleyball fans will also have the opportunity to meet the Nittany Lions in a special postmatch autograph session immediately following the match against the Boilers.
Senior Night vs. Illinois - Saturday, Nov. 26
Help us honor the 2016 Penn State women's volleyball senior class as they take to the court for their final regular season match in Rec Hall. Join us as we say thank you to seniors Laura Broerman, Taylor Krause and Carley Muller. Special limited-edition senior posters will be available to fans entering the match while supplies last.
SEASON LONG FOOTBALL SHUTTLE & TICKET DISCOUNT
Penn State women's volleyball will offer a shuttle to Friday home matches in Rec Hall from the overnight RV football parking lot all season long. Shuttle bus dates include: 9/16, 9/30, 11/04 and 11/25. Check the women's volleyball ticket page for updated departure times and locations. Nittany Lion fans are also able to show their football ticket on both Friday and Saturday at Rec Hall to receive a discounted $4 women's volleyball ticket on gameday.

COMMEMORATIVE 2016 POSTER COLLECTION
Penn State women's volleyball will debut its 2016 poster releasing five commemorative posters as part of a collection throughout the non-conference slate and into the first week of Big Ten play. Fans may collect poster No. 1 at the home opener vs. West Virginia (8/26), poster No. 2 vs. UNC (8/27), poster No. 3 vs. Rhode Island (9/16), poster No. 4 vs. Clemson (9/17) and poster No. 5 in at the Big Ten home opener vs. Michigan State (9/30).
Single-match tickets to all home matches in Rec Hall are now on sale for Penn State season ticket holders. Single match tickets will go on sale to Nittany Lion Club members Wednesday, July 20 and to the general public Thursday, July 21.
Advance tickets are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Fans may purchase tickets by visiting www.GoPSUsports.com/accountmanager and logging into your account or by calling 1-800-NITTANY.
Tickets are also available at the door on gameday priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Penn State women's volleyball has great group rates as well with advance tickets for groups of 20 or more for just $4.
All Penn State students are admitted free of charge with a valid PSU Student ID. 2016 season tickets are also on sale. New season ticket packages are priced at $84. Fans may purchase tickets by calling 1-800-NITTANY or by stopping by the Athletics Ticket Office Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Please note: Penn State fans will no longer receive free admission with proof of their football ticket.
