UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Pegula Ice Arena is set to host its first-ever National Hockey League game as the Buffalo Sabres and Minnesota Wild square off in a pre-season clash on Monday September 26th.
The game is slated for a 7 p.m. puck drop and the doors will open promptly at 5:30 p.m. Tickets range from $25-80 and can be purchased by clicking HERE.
Penn State students will have an opportunity to purchase a ticket for this NHL contest during the student season ticket sale on Thursday, September 8th at 7 a.m.
Parking will be cash only, with general parking available in the Beaver Stadium West and Jordan East lots for $10 and premium parking in the Wagner and Orange F lots for $20. Ticket holders with a valid Penn State parking permit may park for free in both Stadium West and Jordan East lots with their parking pass properly displayed.
Also, a limited number of parking passes are still available in the Shields lot for pre-purchase and may be obtained by clicking HERE.
Select Buffalo Sabres and Minnesota Wild gear will be available for purchase on the concourse level as well as a commemorative game puck.
Pegula Ice Arena will also introduce beer sales in the arena, along with wine in premium areas. Beer will be sold at concession stands as well as portable kiosks located on the concourse.
Patrons interested in purchasing alcohol are required to show proof of age. Service areas at Gates A and B or at any of the concessions stands will be available to provide patrons who are of age a wristband indicting they are of legal age. Fans are limited to purchasing three alcoholic beverages during the game, with a maximum of two per transaction. All alcohol sales will conclude at puck drop of the third period.
