WBB Single Game Tickets, Mini Plans Announced

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" The Penn State women's basketball program has announced the dates and times for the single-game ticket presale, as well as a pair of mini plans for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

The Sixth Man Mini Pack and the PNC Flex Book are currently on sale, while single game ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 for season ticket holders.

Single Game Presale

  • Single game tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Sept. 22, with a pair of presale dates for season ticket holders and Nittany Lion Club set for Sept. 20 and Sept. 21, respectively. Tickets go on sale each day at 10 a.m.
  • As they were last year, single game tickets are being sold in three variable pricing groups. Variable pricing determines individual game prices from many factors including seat location, weekday vs. weekend games, conference vs. non-conference contests, and provides more pricing choices for Penn State fans.

Sixth Man Package

  • The Sixth Man Mini Pack features your chance to see six games inside the Bryce Jordan Center at a savings of over 40 percent off of the adult ticket price. The package guarantees you the same seats for each game.
  • The Sixth Man Mini Pack has baseline and sideline package price points. The sideling option runs $55 for adults and $45 for youth, and the baseline package costs $45 for adults and $40 for youth.
  • Opponents include Tennessee (Nov. 20), Pitt (Dec. 10), Nebraska (Jan. 19), Illinois (Jan. 29), Purdue (Jan. 11) and Michigan (Feb. 26).

PNC Flex Book

  • The PNC Flex Book returns for the 2016-17 season. The book includes 12 total vouchers, including 10 that can be redeemed for either Penn State men's or women's basketball contests. It also contains one voucher each for the Play 4 Kay game benefiting Pink Zone and the Coaches vs. Cancer contest.
  • The cost of the flex book is $120 and can be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY.

Season & Group Tickets

  • Season and group ticket packages for the 2016-17 campaign are currently on sale. To purchase tickets or for information on group ticket experiences, fans can visit http://bit.ly/PSUWBBTickets, call 1-800-NITTANY, visit Virtual Venue and chose your seats or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 10 a.m-6 p.m.

The Schedule

  • Fans will have 16 regular season opportunities to watch the Lady Lions, plus an exhibition contest vs. Bloomsburg. The exhibition contest will take place on Oct. 30 at 2 p.m., while the regular season home schedule kick off with St. Peter's on Sunday, Nov. 13.
  • Penn State plays five of its first six games on their home floor, with games against St. Peter's, Akron, Tennessee and St. Bonaventure. Other non-conference home games include Marshall, Pittsburgh, American and Iona.
  • Home Big Ten contests feature Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue and Michigan.
  • Information about the Play 4 Kay game benefiting Pink Zone will be announced next week.
