The Wildcats found the cage again out of the timeout as Pentenga assisted Saar De Brazil finishing the goal from the left side to extend the lead for Northwestern to 3-1 early in the second half.

A short five minutes later (47') Moira Putsch notched her eighth goal of the season off the deflection in front to cut the lead to one point 3-2 in favor of the Wildcats.

Northwestern would again extend the lead to two on a Pascale Massey goal as Pentenga recorded her second assist of the game to make it a 4-2 Northwestern lead.
