UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's hockey team fell, 4-2, to Robert Morris in a College Hockey America (CHA) contest Saturday afternoon inside the Pegula Ice Arena. Amy Petersen (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Aly Hardy (St. Albans, Vt.) scored for the Nittany Lions.
"It was another good battle here in Pegula Ice Arena conference play," head coach Josh Brandwene said. "It kind of had another set of playoff atmosphere to it. I was really pleased with our bounce back during the second period after a start that we all agree that we could have gotten off to a better start today. Daniela Paniccia was awesome. She really held us in there in the first period. I am really pleased with how we performed on special teams. We won the special teams battle today. There is some work for us to do even strength and that is our goal moving forward."
