COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey announced its 22-player roster for the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team that will compete at the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Under-18 Women's World Championship January 7-14 at the PSG Arena in Zlin, Czech Republic. Penn State women's hockey signee Natalie Heising (Maple Grove, Minn.) is a member of the 22-player roster for the United States.
Heising makes her second appearance with the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team, as she was a member of the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team that won a gold medal at the 2016 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship in St. Catharines, Ontario, last January.
Heising, a senior forward at Wayzata High School, leads her high school team in goals (eight) and points (12) this season. Heising is also tied for the team lead in assists with four.
