UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Season, flex and single-game ticket options for the 2017 Penn State baseball season in Medlar Field at Lubrano Park are now on sale.
The Nittany Lions are slated to play 25 home dates, which includes the home opener Mar. 16-17 against Delaware, eight midweek games and five weekend series.
Season tickets include three exciting NEW features this season, all for the same low price of $60:
- The first 75 fans to purchase general public season tickets will receive a complimentary replica team cap.
- Season tickets will include a field session and batting practice following the conclusion of a Nittany Lion practice (date TBD).
- The "Never-Waste-A-Ticket program" debuts, as season ticket holders can now redeem unused tickets for future dates and thus never lose the value of their full ticket package.
All prices are remaining the same from last season. Adult season tickets are $60 and Penn State student and youth (12 and under) season tickets are priced at $20. A single game ticket costs $5 for adults and $3 for PSU students and youths. All tickets are general admission.
Additionally, a "flex book" with 10 undated ticket vouchers is available for $40, while group packages and suite rentals are also available.
The Penn State baseball team saw attendance surge among students and overall last season. Student season ticket sales increased 54 percent year-over-year, while an average of 1,001 fans per game walked through the Medlar turnstiles for a 12.5 percent year-over-year increase.
The support of the revitalized "Cooper's Town" student section last season helped Penn State get off to its best start in its 10-year history at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The Nittany Lions stumbled in their home opener but won their next 10 to set a ballpark record. Overall, Penn State finished the season with its best record since 2012.
