Ehresmann Named CHA Goalie of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - After helping the Penn State women's hockey team to a pair of victories at Lindenwood this past weekend, junior netminder Hannah Ehresmann (Minnetonka, Minn.) was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Goalie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. This is Ehresmann's second career CHA Goalie of the Week honor.

At Lindenwood over the weekend, the Nittany Lions captured a 4-1 victory on Friday and then completed the series sweep with a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Individually, Ehresmann recorded 24 saves in Friday's game and then she tallied a 41-save performance for her second shutout of the season on Saturday. On the weekend, she led the CHA in saves (65), save percentage (0.985), and goals against average (0.50).

Ehresmann and the Nittany Lions head to No. 8 Robert Morris this weekend (Feb. 17-18) for their final road trip of the 2016-17 regular season. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. inside the 84 Lumber Arena.
