PITTSBURGH - The Penn State women's hockey team fell in its regular season road finale to the No. 8 Robert Morris Colonials, 2-0, in a College Hockey America (CHA) contest Saturday afternoon inside the 84 Lumber Arena.

With two games left in the regular season, the Nittany Lions are now 9-18-5 overall and 8-8-2 in CHA play, while No. 8 Robert Morris is 20-4-6 overall and 13-3-2 in CHA action. The Nittany Lions will either be the No. 3 seed or the No. 4 seed in the 2017 CHA Tournament, which is held March 2-4 at the HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Colonials scored their two goals of the game during the second period, as Amanda Pantaleo netted a short-handed goal at 3:20 and Aneta Ledlova made it a 2-0 contest in favor of RMU at 16:50.

In net for the Nittany Lions, junior goaltender Hannah Ehresmann (Minnetonka, Minn.) recorded a 31-save outing, while Jessica Dodds tallied 22 saves for the Colonials.

The Nittany Lions host Syracuse at the Pegula Ice Arena for their final series of the regular season, Feb. 24-25. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Friday's game is Senior Day for Penn State and will be broadcasted live on the Big Ten Network.
