ROSEMONT, Ill.
- After a weekend of multiple school record marks; Isaiah Harris and Danae Rivers have been named the Big Ten Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Isaiah Harris continues to be one of the top middle-distance athletes in the nation building his resume meet-by-meet.

Harris ran an almost even 1:45.12 this past weekend coming through the 400-meter mark in 52.57 and following it up with a 52.56 over the final lap of the race. His mark is the NCAA leader and is a new Penn State record, erasing the mark of 1:45.28 set by Casimir Loxsom in 2011.

Rivers was a part of the school record 4x800-meter relay that set a program best and current NCAA best mark of 8:38.17 at the Florida Relays to open the outdoor season. This week she set an individual school record in the 800-meters with her time of 2:02.53. Her mark is currently No. 5 in the nation and No. 1 in the Big Ten.
