Frantti enters the 2017 season just 11 kills shy of eclipsing the 1,000-career kill mark.
In addition to Penn State's returning All-Americans, the Nittany Lions bring back young talent in 2016 Big Ten All-Freshman Team honorees Kendall White and Tori Gorrell.
The Nittany Lions, one of two teams to make appearances in all 36 NCAA tournaments, hold a Division I record seven national titles.
