UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State football tickets are in high demand heading into the 2017 season, but limited single game tickets remain for the Akron, Georgia State, Indiana, Rutgers and Nebraska games. Penn State has sold more than 9,000 new season football tickets for the 2017 campaign. The season ticket renewal rate topped 95 percent to help the Nittany Lions exhaust their season ticket allotment for the first time since 2008.
There are opportunities to purchase tickets for five home games for the 2017 Penn State Football season presented by PSECU -- Akron (Sept. 2, noon; season opener); Georgia State (Sept. 16, 7:30 p.m.; Band Jam); Indiana (Sept. 30, TBA; Generations of Greatness); Rutgers (Nov. 11, noon; Homecoming & Military Appreciation) and Nebraska (Nov. 18, TBA; Senior Day). The Nittany Lions have exhausted the allotments for season tickets, recent graduate season tickets, as well as the Pitt and Michigan single game tickets.
