UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's hockey team has announced ticket plans and the promotional schedule for the 2017-18 season, highlighted by five post-game skate dates.

The 2017-18 Penn State women's hockey season features 15 regular season home games inside the Pegula Ice Arena.

Season tickets are now on sale for $50, while single-game tickets are available for $5 each. Season tickets are available online via AccountManager, and for the first time, single game tickets are also available online via AccountManager.

Benefits of being a season ticket holder include: invitations to exclusive events with the team, and be recognized as the season ticket holder of the game at a select home game this season. A Nittany Lion Club donation is not required for season tickets and parking is complimentary to all games.

Groups of 20 or more interested in attending a Penn State women's hockey game this season can buy tickets for a discounted rate of $3 in advance by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Exclusive experiences are available for groups as well including post-game photos on the team bench, honorary coach, and Zamboni Rider of the Game. Interested youth hockey teams can purchase a package to play on the ice during intermission at the women's hockey home game of their choice. Family 4 Pack Returns

The Family 4 Pack offer returns to the Pegula Ice Arena for the 2017-18 women's hockey season. For $30, fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for select games.

Cubs Corner Kids Zone is Bigger and Better!

The Cubs Corner Kids Zone will be set up in the Gate B Overlook each game this season. In addition to testing out their shot on the shooting inflatable, this year kids will also get to try their hand at air hockey and bubble hockey every game! Each week the team will announce on social media what feature activities will be available in the Cubs Corner Kids Zone such as face painting, balloon artists, caricature artists, and photo booths. There will continue to be select crafts available as well.

Five Post-Game Skates

Coach Kampersal is bringing back the popular post-game skates with the team, increasing the number of skates. Post-game skates are free to skate and complimentary skate rentals are available to anyone in attendance at the game.

2017-18 Specialty Theme Games:

THON Awareness Game - Sunday, October 29 vs. Robert Morris

  • THON Families and Volunteers will be highlighted throughout the game to raise awareness for pediatric cancer.

Canned Food Drive - Saturday, November 4 vs. Mercyhurst

  • In preparation for the holiday season, fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to be donated to the local food banks. Any fan who brings a canned food item to donate will receive a $3 ticket for the game.

Skate for the Cure Game (Pink Zone Game) - Saturday, January 20 vs. Syracuse

  • Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, and all fans who wear pink will receive free admission to the game.

Scout Day - Saturday, February 17 vs. RIT

  • Scout troops will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket package that will include a one-of-a-kind scout patch.
  • Scout troops should express interest in this package here.

Book Drive - Saturday, February 24 vs. Lindenwood

  • In anticipation for Read Across America Week and National Reading Month, the women's hockey team will be hosting a book drive. All books will be distributed locally. Any fan who brings a new or gently used book to donate will receive a $3 ticket for the game.
