Bramley Named NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week

CHANDLER, Ariz.
- Penn State junior midfielder Gini Bramley has been selected as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I weekly award winner for competition from Aug. 25-27, announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Bramley totaled three goals as she helped the No. 7-ranked Nittany Lions to road victories at No. 23 Old Dominion and No. 10 Virginia this past weekend.

Bramley led the way as No. 7 Penn State defeated a pair of top-25 opponents on the road last weekend. She scored her team's first goal in the 46th minute as the Nittany Lions tallied three unanswered markers to rally for a 3-2 victory over No. 23 Old Dominion on Friday. Bramley scored twice in a three-minute span, in the 23rd and 26th minutes, to give the Nittany Lions a 3-0 lead at No. 10 Virginia as Penn State would score the game's first four goals in a 4-2 win.
