Tipoff times and broadcast arrangements have been finalized for the 19th Annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The 20th overall and second "Challenge" meeting between Penn State men's basketball and N.C. State will be broadcast on ESPNU with a 7:15 p.m. ET tip time.
The Wednesday, Nov. 29 game at PNC Arena will be Penn State's first game in an opponent's home arena for the 2017-18 season. The Nittany Lions will play another ACC team, Pittsburgh, in the first of two games Nov. 20-21 in the Legends Classic in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Penn State has won three consecutive Big Ten/ACC Challenge games (Virginia Tech, Boston College and Georgia Tech) under head coach Patrick Chambers and seven of its last 10. The Nittany Lions are 8-8 in their 16 Big Ten/ACC Challenge games overall.
In 2016, the ACC won its first outright Big Ten/ACC Challenge since 2008. The Big Ten had captured the Commissioner's Cup for seven consecutive years prior to last season.
All 14 Big Ten/ACC Challenge games will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks. The contests also will be available via WatchESPN.
The Nittany Lions will host Bloomsburg in an exhibition game on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 12 p.m. and open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 10, hosting Campbell at 4 p.m. during Penn State's Homecoming weekend events.
