UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" On Monday evening Penn State Men's Lacrosse saw alum Dan Craig selected as the 57th pick to the Toronto Rock in the 2017-18 National Lacrosse League draft.
"Our staff is very proud of all that Dan accomplished on and off the field during his time at Penn State," Head Coach Jeff Tambroni stated on Craig's selection. "We wish him well and expect that he will have similar success and the same impact during his professional career."
Craig, a middie from Shelburne, Ontario, made 38 career starts, and scored 44 career goals, and added 28 assists during his time in the Blue and White.
A two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Craig was a consistent part of the Nittany Lion's offense, helping the team to a top-ten national ranking, and scored a goal in the upset win over then-No.1 Denver this past season.
The Toronto Rock will open the season on Dec. 8 at the Buffalo Bandits.
