UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State field hockey junior forward Moira Putsch(Media, Pa.) was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

• Posted back-to-back hat tricks this weekend earning 12 points for the No. 6 Nittany Lions
• Scored six goals on only nine shots in PSU's 4-1 win over No. 21 Rutgers and 7-1 victory against Indiana
• Leads the Nittany Lions and Big Ten in goals with 19
• Earns her second Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor and the first of the season

Penn State will be back in action Sunday, Oct. 29 at 12 p.m. when the Nittany Lions host a Big Ten First-Round game at Field Hockey Complex vs. Iowa. The winner of that game will advance to face the winner of Maryland vs. Michigan State on Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m. in East Lansing, Mich.
