UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Nittany Lions close out their regular-season schedule at Maryland Saturday, November 25 in a game that will kick at either 3:30 or 3:45 p.m. Exact time and television arrangements will be announced no later than Sunday. The game will also be available on the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.
The Nittany Lions and Terrapins have met the last three seasons as Big Ten foes. Penn State is 37-2-1 all-time against Maryland, including a 12-1 mark in College Park. Last season, Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley paced a rushing attack that accounted for 372 yards, which was the most by the Lions since 2002. Barkley had a then-career-high 202 yards and a touchdown, while McSorley Had 81 rushing yards, including a 9-yard rushing score, and 152 passing yards with a pair of touchdowns. Brandon Smith led the defensive effort with a career-high 14 tackles, which led to a Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week selection.
