ABOUT ORAL ROBERTS
Oral Roberts (1-4) travels to Penn State after back-to-back close losses to Montana (69-64) and Pepperdine (80-76) November 20-21 in its two games of the Progressive Legends Classic.
First-year Oral Roberts coach Paul Mills was on the staff of the Baylor team that lost to Penn State in the NIT championship in 2009. He spent the last eight years as an assistant coach with the Bears and 14 years overall in Waco, Texas.

- The last time a Nittany Lion scored 20 or more points in a half was Shep Garner in the second half of the 2016-17 season opener with 23. Carr's 21-point total in the first half against the Aggies was the first time a Nittany Lion scored 20 or more points in the opening period since Talor Battle had 20 vs. Sacred Heart on December 22, 2008.
- Redshirt sophomore forward Mike Watkins continues to move up Penn State's career list for blocked shots, now owning the No. 5 spot with 108 total. He entered the 2017-18 season tied for 10th on the career list with 90 in his rookie season. Jan Jagla (2002-04) is ahead of him with 110 for fourth.
