UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's basketball team will play its final exhibition game of the preseason Sunday, Nov. 5 at Bryce Jordan Center. Tipoff is at noon and doors open at 11 a.m. Student season ticket holders are permitted to enter the building at 10:45 a.m. and enjoy pre-game food, while supplies last, as part of their benefits.
Enhanced security measures, which include metal detectors at all entry points and enforcement of the Intercollegiate Athletics' bag policy, will be in place at Bryce Jordan Center. Small purses, fanny packs, diaper and medical bags are all subject to inspection. Large bags, backpacks, totes and coolers are strictly prohibited.

Coach Patrick Chambers begins his seventh season at the helm of the Penn State program and ninth year overall as a head coach.Five of the six top scorers from a year ago return for Penn State in 2017-18, accounting for nearly 80 percent of the team's total points last season. The 2016-17 freshmen trio of Carr (13.2 ppg), Stevens (12.7 ppg) and Watkins (7.7 ppg) contributed nearly half of the points.
Bloomsburg and Penn State last played during the 1981-82 season with the Nittany Lions taking a 49-48 win on December 28, 1981, for the third win in five meetings between the two institutions.
In a 102-80 exhibition game at Lafayette on Saturday, Nov. 4, sophomore guard Tony Carr led all scorers with 23 points as four Nittany Lions finished the game in double figures. Senior guard Shep Garner had 18 points, all on three-point field goals, and Nazeer Bostick finished with 12 points. Josh Reaves went 8-9 from the field for 16 points and led Penn State on the boards with six.
"We got some other contributions from a lot of different guys, which is nice to see, to put them in game situations," said Chambers following the game. "This film is going to be awesome to watch because there is a lot to dote on."
The Nittany Lions' 2017-18 opener is slated for Friday, Nov. 10 against Campbell with a 4 p.m. tip time to start Penn State's homecoming weekend activities.
