UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Penn State alumni, students and fans traveling to the 47th PlayStation Fiesta Bowl can cheer on their Nittany Lions at the Official Penn State Pep Rally at Scottsdale Stadium Dec. 29, and participate in volunteer opportunities and pre-game events leading up to game day. Fans are also encouraged to wear white for the pep rally and game.
Sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association, the Penn State Pep Rally opens at 2 p.m. (MT) at Scottsdale Stadium. The pep rally program, scheduled for 3 p.m. (MT), will feature the Penn State Blue Band, cheerleaders, Lionettes, the Nittany Lion and a number of special guests.
The pep rally is free and open to all Penn Staters. Concession stands will be open for food and beverage purchases.
Fans are asked to enter through Gate F (Drinkwater Boulevard side). Parking is available at the Civic Center Library Parking Garage (3803 N. Drinkwater Blvd.). Parking is free for three hours. It is suggested to park either on the first or third level of the parking garage.

Penn State and the University of Washington Alumni Associations also are teaming up to give back to the community during game week. Alumni and fans (ages 12 and over) are invited to St. Mary's Alliance Food Bank in Phoenix Dec. 29 for a morning of community service, organizing food donations and packing emergency food boxes to be distributed in the Phoenix area. The service project will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. (MT) at 2831 N. 31st Avenue. Pre-registration is required for a limited-number of volunteer spots. Sign up here.
Space is still available for the Penn State Pregame Tailgate from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (MT) on Dec. 30 that includes a buffet-style lunch, beverages and special appearances by the Penn State Pep Band, cheerleaders and more. The ninth-ranked Nittany Lions (10-2) will face No. 11 Washington (10-2) in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl Saturday, Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. (ET)/2 p.m. (MT) in Glendale, Arizona. Penn State season ticket renewals and Nittany Lion Club membership renewals also are underway for the 2018 Penn State Football season presented by PSECU. The ticket invoice and Nittany Lion Club renewal deadline is Feb. 1, 2018.
