A total of 28 Penn State football alumni are populating the active rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually are among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com has provided updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
Highlights from Week 3 included rookie Chris Godwin getting on the stat sheet for the first time, as he caught his first three receptions. Additionally, Sean Lee shined on Monday Night Football to lead Penn State's Linebacker U contingent, registering eight stops in a win over the Cardinals.

Amos saw action on defense and special teams in the win over the Steelers.
Brandon Bell (2013-16) LB, Cincinnati Bengals

Bell is on the Bengals practice squad.
Navorro Bowman (2007-09) LB, San Francisco 49ers

Bowman started the game and played every defensive snap for the 49ers, making four tackles in the loss to the Rams.

Carter is on the Vikings practice squad.
Jack Crawford (2008-11) DE, Atlanta Falcons

Crawford saw action against the Packers and had a tackle in the win over the Lions.

Gilliam saw action on offense and special teams against the Rams.

Godwin had three receptions for 44 yards, marking his first career catches. All three catches were for more than 10 yards with a long of 18.

Gould converted both of his field goal attempts (36 and 48 yards) and three extra points to account for nine of the 49ers' points.

Hull made his third career start for the Dolphins at middle linebacker and totaled six tackles and a fumble recovery, the first of his career.

Lee made a team-high eight tackles, including one for a loss, in a Monday night win over the Cardinals, but he left the game late with a hamstring injury. He ranks 12th in the NFL with 25 tackles on the season.
