UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Alumni, fans and friends of the Penn State baseball program can reserve their seats for the sixth annual First Pitch Dinner, which will be held Saturday, February 3 at
The event will include dinner, a silent auction and introduction of the 2018 team. The tradition of baseball alums presenting the current team with their jerseys will also continue. Former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star reliever and broadcaster Kent Tekulve was previously announced as the keynote speaker, but unfortunately will not be able to attend due to a scheduling conflict.
Doors will open for the general public at 6 p.m. with a cash bar and auction items on display.
The cost is $60 per person for adults and $30 for children ages 3 to 12. Table sponsorships are available this year, which include 10 seats, a gift from Penn State Baseball, and 10 seats in a suite during a home baseball contest. All proceeds benefit Penn State baseball.
Tickets can be purchased by filling out and returning this form, and questions can be addressed by contacting the Varsity S Club at varsityS@athletics.psu.edu or (814) 867-2202. The deadline for registering is Wednesday, January 24.
