UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Nittany Lion track & field program is set to open the 2018 indoor campaign this Saturday as they host the Nittany Lion Challenge meet at the Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

WHAT A YEAR IT WAS!
During the 2017 indoor/outdoor seasons, Penn State broke 20 school records across all events.

Penn State won the 2017 Women's Big Ten Indoor title, while the men's team captured the first Big Ten title in program history at the 2017 Big Ten Outdoor Championships hosted in Happy Valley.

Junior Isaiah Harris is the top returner in the 800-meters in the NCAA along with sophomore Danae Rivers who is the No. 3 returning miler in the NCAA.

The Nittany Lion women's team posted a top-10 finish at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas to cap a successful season. During the outdoor season, the Penn State men's team posted a top-20 finish for the third-straight year in Eugene, Ore. - matching a feat last achieved in 1921-1923.

Isaiah Harris was a silver medalist at the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championships, earning a spot on Team USA at the IAAF World Championships where he advanced to the semifinals of the 800-meters before concluding his season.

Penn State had 36 All-Academic Individuals (3.0 GPA) during the 2017 seasons.

HOME SWEET HOME
The Nittany Lions are set to welcome teams from across the nation into the Ashenfelter III Indoor Track as they host four meets during the 2017 indoor season.

NEXT TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions travel to Clemson, SC to compete in the Clemson Invitational meet Jan. 19-20.
