WINTHROP, Mass. - A pair of Penn State women's hockey student-athletes garnered weekly honors from the College Hockey America (CHA) conference on Monday. For Penn State, Hannah Ehresmann (Minnetonka, Minn.) was named the CHA Goalie of the Week and Natalie Heising (Maple Grove, Minn.) was tabbed the CHA Rookie of the Week.

Ehresmann receives CHA Goalie of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and for the sixth time in her career.

Monday's honor marks the sixth CHA award for Heising, as she has been named Rookie of the Month twice (11/1 & 1/3), Rookie of the Week three times (11/27, 2/12 & 2/19), and Player of the Week (12/4).

This past weekend (Feb. 16-17), the Nittany Lions captured a series sweep of RIT with 4-1 and 2-0 victories.

For Ehresmann, she netted a pair of victories, tallied a save percentage of .970 and a goals-against average of 0.50, both of which ranked second among CHA goaltenders last weekend, and she recorded a 22-save outing in a 2-0 shutout victory on Feb. 17.

Heising picks up her second-straight CHA Rookie of the Week honor after she led the league in goals this past weekend (three). In Penn State's 4-1 victory in the series opener, Heising recorded her third two-goal game of the season.

Penn State closes out the 2017-18 regular season when it hosts Lindenwood at the Pegula Ice Arena, Feb. 23-24. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 p.m. each day.
