UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse sophomore Gerard Arceri was named the Big Ten Specialist of the Week for the second-straight week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Arceri finished the game against Robert Morris taking all 24 face-offs in the game, winning 17 of them, at a clip of 70.8-percents.
The St. James, N.Y., native also scooped up 10 ground balls and scored this third goal of the season.
This is Arceri's the fifth Specialist of the Week honor of his career (2/14/17, 3/8/17, 3/14/17, 2/20/18).
This is the fourth-straight week that the Big Ten has honored Penn State after Arceri's back-to-back honors.
Ryan Keenan was honored as Player of the Week and Freshman Jack Kelly earned Freshman of the Week on February 6, and Mac O'Keefe earned Player of the Week honors on February 13.
The Nittany Lions hit the road for the first time this season to take on #13 Penn on Saturday, March 3 at 1 p.m. at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
