INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.
- The Penn State track & field team will send 10 student-athletes to compete next weekend at the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be held March 9 and 10 in College Station, Texas, and hosted by Texas A&M.

On the women's side, Penn State will be represented in two individual events by a dynamic duo. The participants for the women are Danae Rivers in the 800-meters and Maddie Holmberg in the pentathlon.

Meanwhile, the men will have six entries to the NCAA championships, including five athletes in individual events and ninth-ranked 4x400-meter relay of Dan Chisena, Xavier Smith, Kier Miner, and Isaiah Harris. The Nittany Lion men's individual NCAA entries are Isaiah Harris (800-meter), Terrance Laird (200-meters), Bryce Williams (triple jump), David Lucas (weight throw) and Morgan Shigo (weight throw).

The seven athletes in the individual events earned a spot in the field by being among the top 16 marks in the NCAA this season, while the relays had to be in the nation's top-12 fastest times.

ESPN3 will stream the meet live starting at 6:30 p.m. ET March 9 and starting at 5 p.m. ET March 10. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 7 p.m. ET Sunday, March 11 on ESPN2.
