Baseball Announces TV, Broadcast Schedule

March 14, 2018

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Three national television appearances highlight Penn State baseball's live coverage in 2018, which includes live video coverage of all home games and audio broadcasts of all remaining games.

On TV, Penn State will appear on BTN twice with a pair non-conference games. The first will open the network's 2018 baseball coverage Wednesday, March 21, as the Nittany Lions host Pittsburgh (6:30 p.m.), and the second will feature Penn State hosting West Virginia Tuesday, April 3 (6:30 p.m.) Additionally, the Nittany Lions' regular-season finale at Iowa will be televised live starting at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.

In addition to the TV broadcasts, 13 games are currently scheduled to be streamed on BTN Plus, including entire road series at Rutgers (Mar. 23-25), Minnesota (Apr. 6-8) and Iowa (May 17-19), as well as select home games. A BTN Plus subscription includes non-televised games and events streamed on BTN2Go, produced in conjunction with the Big Ten universities. To watch BTN Plus, purchase a monthly or annual BTN Plus Subscription on BTN2Go for conference-wide action or a single favorite school.

BTN may add additional games to its broadcast slate at a later date. Additionally, highlights and coverage of Big Ten baseball and softball will be featured on The B1G Show, which airs on Sundays beginning April 1 on BTN. Hosts Rick Pizzo and Mike Hall will discuss Big Ten matchups and breakout performances from the weekend's games.

All Penn State home games not appearing on BTN or BTN Plus will be streamed for free on Lion Vision, available for free on GoPSUsports.com. Road games not covered on BTN Plus may be streamed via the opponent's website.

Radio and streaming audio broadcasts of Nittany Lion baseball games begin Friday with Penn State's home opener against NJIT at 5 p.m. Fans can tune in locally on State College's ESPN Radio 1450, a Forever Media station, or from anywhere on GoPSUsports.com.
